September 6, 2003: Just added the newest strip, in which the ubersexy gRoan makes her first, um, full-frontal appearance (of sorts). Swag page has been updated with the gRoan wallpaper, and I started compiling the scripts for the Bios page today as well! Going to redo the site design over the next few weeks, try some different things and see if we can't improve on the general flow. Gothy Feng Shui, if you will. Yes, Grasshopper, it is coming soon.
August 25, 2003: Finally! The move is completed and the DSL is cooking and Deeply Creepy is back in business. Strip #7 is posted for your viewing enjoyment and we know you'll dig the new format. Specal thanks to Annie Westfall for Photoslopping the new strip and tweaking the colors! Check out the Static Engine link in the last panel- kickass music from here in the Pacific Northwest! Also, we'll be updating a section on the page for groovy new Deeply Creepy desktop images, so grab yours now. The images, you perv....
July 29, 2003: I'm in the process of moving to Seattle, should be there about August 6 or so. Once I have the 'puter hooked back up, you should be seeing a new strip. Sorry it's taking so long but this summer has been hella hectic. You will be rewarded, trust me on that one... -- Aaron
June 29, 2003: Sorry for the delay in updating the site, we've been hella busy. Matt has been working feverishly on the new Comatose Rose material and Aaron is still planning his move to Seattle, so free time is way too damn minimal. Then again, we're always hella busy. Wow, this should be changed from the News page to the Sorry We're Such Slack Bastards page....
May 10, 2003: Strip #3 "Hot Topical" has been re-added to the page. Sorry for the delay in getting everything back up and running. 1247 hits as of 1:30pm today. Keep it coming!
May 8, 2003: Sorry for the delay in getting the strips reposted. Strips 1 and 2 are back up, and Matt is currently re-tooling Strip 3 and that should be ready very soon. We now have a Strip Pimp in Atlanta, and will soon have one in Boston. I'm gonna have to get a map just to keep track of where to send propaganda....
April 29, 2003: Strip #2 "Black On Black" was posted tonight. The propaganda onslaught has begun. 207 hits to the site as of midnight tonight, let's see how many we get after the propaganda machine started rolling, eh kiddies? And we still need street team people, dammit, so get in touch already.
April 25, 2003: The DeeplyCreepy egroup is up and running. Join for updates on when new strips are posted, merchandise deals, and any gossip we feel like spreading. This will also be the contact point for the Deeply Creepy Street Team, so if you want to help us spread the word, email us with "Street Team" in the subject line. Deeply Creepy Street Team members will get a free t-shirt, stickers, flyers, and other swag to help get people interested in the strip. The Street Team will be limited (initially) to 30 people. First come, first served!
April 22, 2003: Matt emails Aaron the first completed strip. Aaron edits strip. Aaron gets off his ass and finishes the frameset, images, and basic outline for the webpage. Feel sorry for his piddly HTML skillz, he DJs too much and never had time to finish that HTML For Dinguses book. If anyone wants to do our site for free swag, email us. Yeah, we're cheap. Smeg off.
April 12, 2003: Deeply Creepy flyers mysteriously appear in clubs in Chicago and Atlanta. And we don't even have a street team yet. Or flyers for that matter. We have an idea who did this, but thanks anyway!
April 1, 2003: Matt hands Aaron a stack of drawings, says to pick a style that works. Aaron picks them all. Matt thinks working for Dark Horse is a much better career move at this point.
March 15, 2003: Aaron gets Rizzachel and Amee drunk off their asses in a hotel in Seattle on malt liquor, Night Train, and Cisco. Hey, YOU try finding Chartreuse at the 7-11, bizzatch, then you can complain about MY taste in alcohol.
March 13, 2003: Aaron goes to Seattle to spread the word and spook the herd. I have no idea what Matt did this week, he won't tell me. He was probably slacking.
February 4, 2003: Matt agrees to do artwork, meaning one of Aaron's grandiose plans for subverting the goth scene might actually be seen by someone other than his girlfriend.
February 2003: The Deeply Creepy website gets birthed. Granted, it's premature. Best to get ideas and content together before telling anyone about it....
